Harry Potter Quiz Night Thursay 3rd Feb 1900-2030 -: We will be hosting a Harry Potter quiz night pick your brains on your knowledge of all things magical and wonderful. £3.50 pp max 4 per team. Bring your own refreshments
Harry Potter Fun Day Sat 5th Feb 10-3pm – We know how much you love Harry Potter and so we have dedicated a day to celebrate the brilliant universe. All wizards are welcome, muggles tolerated!
To celebrate our local LGBTQ+ community we are holding a mini pride day at the library. Lots of books from LBGTQ+ authors, face painting, Drag Queen storytime, crafts and more!

SUMMER READING CHALLENGE LAUNCHES Sat 16th July – This year the Summer Reading Challenge hit’s simple read (or share if you are unable to read) 6 books from the library over the next 6 weeks – get small prizes along the way and a medal if you finish!
Summer Holidays are in full flow: Depending on restrictions. Loads for all the family, the Summer Reading Challenge for all aged 0-18yrs will still be on plus all our regular weekly activities.
Thurs 15th Sept 7-8.30 – Hopshackle Brewery talk to us about there process, plus they’ll be a chance to taste and buy some of their produce – what a nice way to welcome in the autumn! £3.50pp inc refreshments
Hibernating Hedgehogs -Thursday 20th October 7-8.30: Have you got a resident hedgehog and want to know how to keep them safe over winter? or perhaps you want to know how to make your garden a welcome save haven for our little prickly friends?Join the experts from the Hedgehog Hotel in Peterborough to find out. £3.50 pp inc refreshments
Halloween Sat 29th October 10-3pm: Spooky Craft to take home and a mini spooky trail.
Life in the Fens – date TBC: Join local author Rex Sly for a fascinating look at our local area and specifically the fens, learn where exactly the “Fens” are and what it was like working in them in the past. £3.50pp inc refreshments. You’ll also have a chance to buy books from Rex, “From Punt to Plough” “Exploring Fen Edge” and “Fenland Families” on the night.
Christmas Fun day – Date and time TBC Once again we will be holding our fun day for families. Crafts, stories, tombola, cake and of course the big man himself! Book your timed slot (no queuing) to see Father Christmas for just £5.00 per child, booking at the library essential. Father Christmas will be with us from midday to 3pm.
