Looking to get your kids into reading?
The Deepings Library Kids Zone is a great place to start.
We cherish the opportunity to get kids involved in literature and know that early learning development is key to your child’s enjoyment.
Joining the Teenage Zone is free. If you are aged 12 or above and live in the Deepings area, then you can join as a member of the library using a proof of identity.
Our library has a teen area where you can really chill out and relax, learn and enjoy our teen zone that is especially designed by teenagers for teenagers.
Reading Lincs is a project between three local primary schools encouraging parental engagement, supporting reluctant readers and providing a greater depth to reading for those already proficient.
The schools that are taking part in the initiative are Market Deeping Community School, Baston C of E School and Deeping St James Primary School.
Deepings Community Library posted a video to the playlist Children to Children Stories.

Our lovely picture is of his 89th birthday last year when we were able to celebrate in the Library. He's all ready for his cake with Mavis, also in the group, who was also celebrating her birthday..
