With the government allowing libraries to re open in July you thought you’d be rushing back in to change your books? Well not yet you can’t. We are part of Lincolnshire Libraries and they are staggering the openings, starting with the larger county libraries which will open (with a reduce service and hours) from 13th July. Once these libraries have been open for a while and all going well they will then look at allowing the community libraries to start up again. In the meantime we are working hard behind the scenes to get a great online presence and to put in place the safety measures we’ll need for when we can open. It’s likely that when open, it will be on a click and collect service only and browsing will not be allowed. We are also not sure at this stage whether use of the public pcs will be available. But we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
